Job Description:


Safety Management:

  • Develop, update, and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Coordinate and lead safety training sessions for employees.

6S Implementation:

  • Integrate 6S principles into daily operations to enhance workplace organization, efficiency, and cleanliness.
  • Facilitate 6S training and workshops to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement 6S initiatives across various departments.

Compliance Monitoring:

  • Ensure that safety and 6S practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to 6S standards and best practices.

Incident Reporting and Investigation:

  • Establish and manage a system for reporting accidents, incidents, and near misses.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents, applying 6S principles to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Emergency Preparedness:

  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, incorporating 6S principles where applicable.
  • Conduct drills to test and improve emergency response procedures.

Documentation and Recordkeeping:

  • Maintain accurate records of safety and 6S-related activities, including training sessions, inspections, and incident reports.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on safety and 6S performance.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction using 6S methodology.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement standardized work practices and sustain improvements.

Safety Communication:

  • Facilitate communication channels related to safety and 6S concerns and updates.
  • Promote open communication among employees and management regarding safety and 6S matters.

Safety cum 6S Committee Participation:

  • Participate in or lead safety and 6S committees, engaging employees in the development and implementation of initiatives.
  • Foster a sense of ownership and responsibility for safety and 6S principles throughout the organization.

Job Qualification:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Proven more than 1 year of working experience as a Safety Administrator or in a similar role in manufacturing industries.
  • Required language : English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia (translation purpose)
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and training skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Must be willing to work in Banting.
