Mitsubishi Elevator Malaysia Sdn Bhd (MELM) is seeking a motivated and dynamic Costing & Procurement Assistant!
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan implement and control the functional activities assigned to the post by the direction of the immediate superior in the most cost-effective and efficient manner
- To obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers before negotiating for a competitive price in the purchase of equipment and parts
- To assist in costing activities
- To enter purchasing information into the LN Infor System/Salesforce and master list
- To issue Purchase Orders to approved suppliers and sub-contractors
- To attend to enquiries from the Installation department, Maintenance Sales and Sales Department
- To prepare all related documentation for the works order
- To arrange a delivery schedule with the Logistic Section, PIC of the Installation department and Branches
- To generate monthly and yearly purchasing reports and compile other reports as required
- To attend to any duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the immediate superior or the Management from time to time
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Supply Change Management/Logistics or any other related field.
- At least 2 years of related sales experience in the engineering industry.
- Experience in vertical transportation (i.e. elevators) will be an added advantage.
- Good communication skills with proficiency in English are required.
- Positive attitude, self-starter, results-oriented, good presentation and time management skills.
- Possess good writing skills in English.
- Have the initiative to work under minor supervision.
