Sourcing Executive

Job scope:

Supplier Development and Maintenance

• Source products that meet customer requirements through both existing and newly developed suppliers.
• Thoroughly understand the capabilities and limitations of new suppliers' offerings.
• Maintain strong relationships with all suppliers and stay updated on their latest developments and new product offerings.

Pricing & Negotiation

• Receive inquiries from sales personnel and contact relevant supplier for quotes.
• Evaluate factors such as price, product quality, and supplier service quality to select the best suppliers.
• Communicate and coordinate with suppliers and foreign trade salespeople regarding pricing and payment terms.

Order follow-up

• Closely monitor the production progress of supplier orders to ensure timely and high-quality production and on-time delivery.
• Follow up on the return and exchange of defective products, ensuring quick resolution

Process and technical support

• Provide product process consulting to sales personnel.
• Assist sales personnel with product selection, consultation, and recommendations on product origin and suppliers in response to customer needs for samples.

Quality control

• Conduct preliminary assessments of supplier sample quality.
• Promptly communicate and coordinate with suppliers on issues related to materials, processes, technology, and quality.
• Track and confirm daily expected shipments, negotiating with suppliers to resolve any abnormalities or problems promptly.

Other Responsibilities

• Catalogue new company products and handle other tasks assigned by the company.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Inspection, Shipping, and Finance, to ensure smooth operations.
• Evaluate suppliers based on indicators such as quality and service, ensuring they meet company standards.

Requirements:

• Candidates with a background in sourcing/procurement with experience sourcing gifts with purchase (GWP), premiums or POSM items are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum SPM qualification.
• Ability to handle tight deadlines and a fast paced environment
• Ability to read & write in Chinese is an added advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Lively, energetic, dynamic individual with a friendly disposition
