Service Engineer (Home-based position in Bintulu, Sarawak)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform troubleshooting, calibration and commissioning at customer site.
• Provide support to customer on technical issues via email or phone.
• Attend customer enquiry on technical issues and general info (eg: enquiry on products, certification requirement by customer).
• Prepare documents after site visits (Certificates, Service report and Calibration report).
• Maintain & update documentation pertaining to technical support.
• Scout for new service business opportunity.
• Take lead for assigned ad-hoc task relevant to Product and/or Systems.
• Interface with cross functional work teams such as Project and Sales for technical issues and/or site visits.
• Liaise, manage and co-ordinate on product issues and service information from production center.
• Provide inter-branch support when required.
• Perform Offshore jobs.
• Assist in collection when necessary.
• Provide training to customer and attend technical clarification meeting when necessary.
• Support team member on ad-hoc task (example: delivery of items and documents).
• Other tasks assigned by superior.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or relevant.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in automation and instrumentation is an added advantage.
• Must be a Sarawakian
• Strong product and industrial knowledge.
• Electrical and Mechanical background and experience is essential.
• Experience in manage subordinate.
• Willingness to travel in short notice.
• Willingness to work in harsh condition and travel offshore.
• Possess safety certification.
• Computer literate - MS Office and Basic IT knowledge.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa.
• Good Customer Relation Management (CRM).
