Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, oversee and develop geology modelling and resources estimation team work
  • Responsible from the geological modelling stages through to mine feasibility, due diligence exercises, mine planning, financial modelling, as well as completing JORC and KCMI compliant resource and reserve estimation
  • Responsible for coal modelling develop and progress (quantity, quality, cross section, geology structure, contour, isopach lines, subcropline, bore holes validation, model validation, and reserve estimation (Krigging reserve formula knowlege is a plus)
  • Responsible for regional geology analysis, detail exploration plan, borehole drilling patterns, and identifiying outcrops
  • Responsinble for analysis of seam (dip, strike, thickness, and quality), lithology and stratigraphy, geology structure and sub-structure, sedimentation, regional coal basin, morphology, and topography
  • Responsible for any geology maps preparing (geology, structure, pit, quality, and reserve)
  • Responsible for in-fill or additional drilling to ensuring and increasing of coal reserve

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree and above from reputable university major in Geology
  • Professional background of Geological Specialty Engineer or expertise
  • Preferred minimum 10 years experience as coal modelling geologist (coal exploration including)
  • Capable of operating mining, geology modelling, and resource calculation software (Minescape, Minex, Xpac. ArcGIS, GIS)
  • In depth knowledge in resource and reserve estimation refer to JORC, KCMI, USGA, JIS, and other international references
  • In depth knowledge in coal geology comprehensively, coal proximate and ultimate analysis and development of coal feasibility and geology study
  • Able to generate coal geology model to becoming mine plan (especially for long term plan)
  • Willing to be place at remote site in Kalimantan
