Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Chief Marketing Officer to lead our marketing efforts for a major food & beverages chain in Malaysia. Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance brand positioning, drive customer acquisition, and increase market share across multiple channels.
  • Brand Management: Lead brand management efforts to ensure a consistent and compelling brand presence across all marketing platforms, including digital, social media, and in-store promotions.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute high-impact marketing campaigns, including product launches, seasonal promotions, and special events, to drive foot traffic and sales growth.
  • Customer Insights and Segmentation: Utilize customer data and market research to identify key consumer segments, preferences, and trends, and tailor marketing efforts to meet their needs.
  • Digital and Social Media Marketing: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including social media strategies, online advertising, and content marketing, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Develop strategic partnerships with key industry players, media outlets, and influencers to amplify brand reach and drive collaborative marketing efforts.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and results-driven performance.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, including new markets, product lines, and customer segments, to expand the brand’s footprint in Malaysia and beyond.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is mandatory.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing roles, with at least 5 years as a Marketing Director, preferably within the restaurant or quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the restaurant industry in Malaysia, including consumer behavior, competitive landscape, and market trends.
  • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans that drive brand growth and business success.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
