  • Strong experience in managing budgets, Profit and Loss (P & L), and leading high-performing teams.
  • This job is available for 2 vacancies (Johor Bahru and Klang, Selangor).

Job Description:

Develop and lead strategic partnerships and drive revenue growth for Legend Malaysia. Responsible for the overall strategic plans and operations of Legend Malaysia's business.

  • Oversee and manage the operations of the 3 divisions. (Tank, Container Shipping and Freight Forwarding)
  • Identify business partners and initiate cooperation for business expansion
  • Set up annual budget and ensure that revenue and cost budgets are properly administered and followed. Responsible for the Profit and Loss, oversee the budgets and controlling costs within the budgets
  • Create, communicate and implement organisation’s vision, mission and overall direction
  • Develop high quality business strategies and plans, ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Act as a strategic partner by overseeing the complete operations and business activities of the organisation in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans and programs; and ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
  • Evaluate and recommend key investments in equipment, infrastructure and talent
  • Formulate, implement and direct the organisation’s operational, fiscal functions and performance
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and inhouse policies to maintain the organisation’s legality and business ethics
  • Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the organisation and with the senior leadership team as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges
  • Improve strategic input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organisation, make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits
  • Act as a strategic advisor and consultant offering expert advice on contracts, negotiations or business deals that the company may enter into
  • Evaluate organisation’s financial, operational, and sales and marketing structures to plan for continual improvements and a continual increase of operation efficiencies
  • Lead and train and manage the team to advance employee engagement to develop a high performing team
  • Report key results to company’s Directors
