Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Analysis: Conduct thorough cost analysis for products, services, and projects to determine accurate production costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Budget Preparation: Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, providing essential cost information and analysis to support strategic financial planning.
  • Cost Monitoring: Monitor and control costs throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and identifying variances.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory valuation and management, ensuring accurate raw materials costing, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Pricing Strategy Support: Provide cost information and analysis to support competitive pricing strategies, ensuring products are profitably priced.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update costing systems and databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity for effective cost tracking and reporting.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Production, Procurement, Sales, and Management to gather cost data, streamline processes, and enhance cost efficiency.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure all costing activities comply with company policies, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively resolve internal issues related to costing matters.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Cost Accounting.
  • Experience: At least two years of relevant experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ERP and SAP systems knowledge is a plus.
  • Work Ethic: Committed, self-motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Communication: Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Product Costing Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in product costing methodologies.
  • Tech-Savvy: Fast and efficient user of MS Office applications and email communication.
  • Adaptability: Quick learner who can adapt to new processes and systems.
