Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the development, execution and alignment of the long-term and short-term strategies while also inculcating the company’s mission, vision, strategic objectives and corporate values within the organization.
  • Provide oversight and direction for the achievement of organization key result and continuous performance improvement in meeting the expectation of the stakeholders.
  • Drive a culture and operation transformation to embrace consumer-centric, data-driven, and continuous improvement initiatives while optimizing organizational structure and overall factory performance.
  • Ensure organizational culture, core values, and a stellar reputation are maintained and strengthened internally and externally.
  • Responsible to drive communication and execution of the strategic objectives which integrate technical, operational, and functional resources of the business throughout the organization.
  • Build a high-performance team culture with a high sense of accountability, integrity and result driven around measurable target.
  • Provide leadership for the organization, mentoring of high performing staff and ensure all staff are adequately trained and appropriately utilized.
  • Implementation of the plant’s overall preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Responsible for developing quality strategy, policies, processing standard and ensure it is maintained to company’s QMS.
  • Ensure the factory operation is in compliance with the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) best practices and all local regulations and by-laws.
  • Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 10-15 years of experience, out of which 3 years should have been as a Senior Manager.
  • Possess strong technical background with extensive knowledge and/or experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of plants and equipment and project management.
  • Extensive experience in Presentation, Project Planning, New Start-up, Management, Influencing, Conflict Management, and Mentoring.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, leadership, and motivational skills.
  • Skills to help analyse reports and research data on trends
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities at a strategic and functional level.
  • Proven ability at developing high performance teams and high potential employees.
  • Ability to lead and participate on high performing cross-functional teams and get results through others.
  • Must be familiar with food safety quality management system and regulatory requirement.
  • Must be familiar with current trends, practices and metrics.
  • English & Bahasa Malaysia fluency.
