Job Role Description:

This role ensures that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and within safety guidelines. The incumbent will be responsible for optimizing production output, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. The role requires strong leadership and the ability to coordinate with various departments to achieve production targets.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that production schedules are met and that products are manufactured within quality standards.
• Monitor and manage plant resources to optimize production efficiency.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet the required specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure all production activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular safety training for staff.
• Mentor, and develop the production team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
• Foster a collaborative working environment and address any staff issues promptly.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate new technologies and methods into production processes.
• Manage the raw materials inventory and ensure that supplies are available to meet production demands.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Prepare and present regular production reports to senior management.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production activities, including quality control and safety documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the asphalt or concrete manufacturing industry, heat exchangers, and radiator industry.
• Proven experience in managing a production team and optimizing manufacturing processes.
• Strong knowledge of production management, quality control, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental compliance in manufacturing.
• Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
