The Retail Operations Excellence Executive plays an important role within the Retail Sales department by focusing on the execution of operational excellence initiatives, process improvement, knowledge management, and daily operational tasks. This role will be involved in implementing and monitoring operational strategies in line with achieving the department’s organizational goals.

  • Operational Excellence:
    • Assist in implementing and monitoring strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Support process optimization initiatives and contribute to cost reduction efforts.
    • Preparing and maintaining SOPs to ensure reliability and efficiency of processes.
    • Supporting the sales team with key planning and operations tasks to support the overall objective of the business.
    • Communicating sales operations initiatives to sales team persuasively, effectively using a variety of communication tools.

    2. Process Improvement:

    • Conduct process analysis and contribute to the development of improvement solutions.
    • Use data and reports to design process improvement initiatives.
    • Identifying opportunities for improvement in the sales process and systems to ensure greater sales productivity and efficiency.

    3. Project Management Support:

    • Support project management efforts by assisting with planning, tracking, and execution.
    • Help manage project documentation, timelines, and deliverables.

    4. Sales Leads Generation:

    • Assist in managing and optimizing the existing Sales leads management system & process.
    • Support with ongoing efforts to track and nurture sales leads in line with sales conversion rate improvement.

    5. Learning & Development:

    • Support in the identifying training needs and learning solutions development to address retail salespersons skill gaps.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and adjust as necessary.
    • Support in the facilitation of process improvement workshops and training sessions.
    • Perform routine learning administration-related activities.

    Job Requirements:

    • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or relevant fields.
    • Strong analytical, communication & problem-solving skills.
    • Reasonable working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics, using business management software (ERP, CRM & Business Intelligence)
    • Prior experience in Sales Operations, Sales, Marketing or Customer Service roles would be an added advantage.
    • Role is based in our company’s HQ office in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
    • Adaptable, dynamic, resourceful and multi-tasker.

    Job Entitlements:
