SYSTEM ENGINEER

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role requires a deep understanding of system architecture, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and storage systems.
• Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and availability.
• Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Implement security measures to protect data and systems from external threats.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to support and enhance the overall IT environment.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, or similar are a plus.
