The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the project manager and engineering team with technical documentation, project control, cost estimation, and scheduling. Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret technical documents, including engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including technical scope, pricing, and commercial terms.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors to clarify technical requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for project planning and execution.
  • Monitor project progress and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Identify and manage project risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Analyze technical bids from suppliers and participate in vendor selection processes.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and technical records.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in subsea and oil and gas engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 1 - 3 years' of project engineering, ideally within the subsea, offshore, or oil and gas sectors
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and reviewing technical and commercial tender documents
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential, with experience in AutoCAD considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
  • Understanding of procurement processes, bid evaluations, and vendor management
