Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies aligning with the organization's goals and objectives, including budget creation, financial performance forecasting, and financial statement analysis.
  • Financial Operations: Supervise daily financial operations, such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and billing.
  • Team Management: Provide leadership to all facets of the Group's financial reporting and accounting operations. Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, including accountants, financial analysts, and other specialists. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and analytical skills are highly desirable.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure the company's ability to meet its financial obligations.
  • Accounting and Reporting: Oversee Billing, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. Ensure all financial reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and evaluate financial risks, and formulate strategies to mitigate these risks, including those associated with investments, currency fluctuations, and credit.
  • Corporate Activities: Manage corporate activities including Corporate Restructuring, Fund Raising, Mergers & Acquisitions, Initial Public Offerings, etc.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all pertinent financial regulations and laws, including tax laws, financial reporting requirements, and internal control procedures.
  • Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors, shareholders, and other stakeholders, effectively communicating financial performance and strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

- Must hold a Degree in Accounting or a related certification (MIA / CIMA / ACCA / CA / CPA / etc.)

- Must have working knowledge and experience with MFRS / IFRS framework

- Main key areas of focus - Financial Operations, Accounting and Reporting, Team Management.

- A minimum of 6 years experience in roles such as Finance Manager, Senior Group Accountant, or equivalent positions.

- Working knowledge and experience with Bursa listing requirements will be added advantages.

- Corporate finance knowledge and experience will be a big advantage.
