Job description
• Oversee the smooth and timely execution of bunker supply activities, ensuring compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Supervise bunker supply activities from bunker barge to receiving vessels smoothly and timely and ensure the company SOPs are being adhered.
• Handle application of relevant bunker documents with marine, port and customs authority.
• Liaise with client vessel’s master or captain for precise vessel bunker location and timing.
• Coordinate with ship manager on vessels and crew requirements.
• Check, sort, record and file all bunker related documents according to the company requirements.
• Monitor and coordinate bunker deliveries and handle any cancellations and/or amendments when required.
• Resolve common and complex deliveries, disputes, and claims between suppliers and customers.
• Any other assignments and responsibilities as delegated by the immediate superior.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Marine / Engineering / Business / Economics and any other related disciplines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An independent individual with initiative and able to work well under pressure.
- A team player able to interact with people from all levels.
- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Language: Malay, English, and Mandarin speaking (Required to communicate with Chinese's Customer)
