Key Responsibilities

Process support across a range of activities in FX Derivative Operations:

  • Collateral Management:
  • Oversee the management of collateral for FX derivative trades, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Monitor collateral levels and ensure that necessary collateral from clients is received or returned as required.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to address any collateral-related issues with clients.
  • Trade Confirmation Monitoring:
  • Facilitate timely and accurate confirmation of FX derivative trades.
  • Monitor and follow up with clients to ensure the prompt execution of trade confirmations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to resolve any discrepancies related to trade confirmations.
  • Settlements:
  • Manage the settlement process for FX derivatives, ensuring timely and accurate payment and receipt of funds.
  • Liaise with clients or liquidity providers to address and resolve any settlement discrepancies.
  • Monitor liquidity needs to support transactions and ensure sufficient funds across bank accounts to facilitate transaction flows.
  • Credit Administration:
  • Support the credit risk management process.
  • Monitor client exposure and escalate any potential breaches in credit limit.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of credit limits within the credit limit system.

Other responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of operational procedures and guidelines.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in FX derivatives operations or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of FX derivative products, including swaps, forwards, and options.
  • Knowledge of collateral management, trade confirmation, settlement processes or industry best practices is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
