  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Your new opportunity is with a well-established and reputable name in electronics manufacturing, having extended its product offerings to a range of other manufacturing industries globally. You will be based in Penang.


Your new role

Engaging with Product Engineering, Product Quality, R&D and outsourced manufacturers, you will develop and lead Sourcing Strategies and RFx processed during pre and post award stages from global suppliers. The portfolio will include market analysis and forecast planning to ensure the required products are delivered according to the optimal quantity, quality and timelines. You will also lead supplier performance reviews and engage with System Integration, Service Delivery, Sales and Pre-Sales teams in improvement plans both from the angle of product and also material fulfilment.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8-10 years in an electronics Category Management role with regional stakeholder management. A background in Engineering is an added advantage.
  • Good commercial acumen and global stakeholder engagement skills
  • End-to-end knowledge of Procurement processes from Requisition to Supplier Performance Review & Audit
  • Excellent communication skills in English is a MUST
  • Experience in SAP or other ERP tools
