Finance Roles & Responsibilities:


1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Develop and manage the organization’s financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and evaluate business performance.


2. Accounting and Reporting:
• Oversee and maintain accurate accounting records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare timely financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.


3. Cash Flow Management:
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the organization has sufficient liquidity for operations and investments.
• Develop strategies to optimize working capital, including inventory management and receivables collection.


4. Budget Management:
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process, including setting budget guidelines and engaging departments in budget preparation.
• Track budget performance and analyze variances, providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.


5. Financial Risk Management:
• Identify financial risks related to operations, investments, and external factors.
• Implement strategies to mitigate risks and protect the organization’s financial assets.


6. Compliance and Audit:
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and other legal obligations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
