Service Engineer

We are searching for a detail-orientated, deadline-driven service engineer to join our growing company. The service engineer's responsibilities include repairing faults, servicing equipment and conducting operation training.

To be successful as a service engineer, you should be knowledgeable about machines and willing to accept constructive criticism. Ultimately, an outstanding service engineer will exhibit resourcefulness as well as superb active listening and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, commissioning, customer training and preventive maintenance of LECO instrumentation.
• Using various strategies and tools to provide effective solutions to customers' concerns.
• Communicating with clients, engineers, and other technicians to ensure that services are delivered effectively.
• Promptly following up on service requests and providing customer feedback.
• Monitoring equipment and machinery performance and developing preventative maintenance measures.
• Conducting quality assurance and safety checks on all equipment.
• Delivering demonstrations to ensure that customers are educated on safe and effective equipment use.
• Writing reports and presenting findings to Managers and Supervisors on a regular basis.

Qualifications :

• Possess education level of Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree
• At least 1 to 2 years experience in related field
• Electronic Engineering or Instrumentation
• Electronic skills
• Clear communication with team members and clients
• Knowledge of computer software and hardware
• Problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
• Organizational skills and tasks management
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to deal with multiple requests without being overwhelmed.
• The ability to remain professional under pressure.
• Superb work ethic and a growth mindset.
• Able to work independently with good interpersonal skills.
• Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Instrumentation.

• LECO Instruments in Malaysia serves as a distribution hub with a team of 10+ manpower, i.e. sales, engineers, administrative, etc.
• Permanent position available.
• Monday to Friday work week.
• Standard office hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm.

• 15 days annual leaves – 21 days annual leaves after 5 years of service.
