Your new company

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing e-commerce company, disrupting the industry with innovative products and services. As part of their expansion, we are seeking a passionate Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to set up and lead our entire L&D department.

Your new role

As the L&D Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our employees' growth and development. You'll design and execute learning strategies, create engaging training programs, and foster a culture of continuous learning. Your mission is to empower our team members to thrive in their roles and contribute to our company's success.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute learning strategies aligned with our business goals. Create a roadmap for building a robust L&D function.
  • L&D Process: Establish the Learning and Development department from scratch. Design processes, policies, and frameworks.
  • Training Programs: Design and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills, from onboarding to leadership development.
  • Needs Assessment: Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify training needs across the organisation.
  • Budget Management: Manage L&D budgets efficiently, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources.
  • Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with external training providers and e-learning platforms.
  • Learning Platforms: Evaluate and implement learning management systems (LMS) or other digital tools.
  • Career Development: Support employees' career growth through personalised development plans.
  • Metrics and Evaluation: Track learning effectiveness, gather feedback, and continuously improve programs.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience: You have a proven track record in L&D, preferably with experience in setting up an L&D framework and structure.
  • Strategic Vision: You can envision and build an L&D function from scratch. No prior experience is required as long as you are familiar with L&D workflow. You're not afraid to think outside the box and experiment with innovative approaches.
  • Collaboration: You'll work closely with department heads, managers, and external partners. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
  • Adaptability: In the e-commerce industry, things move quickly. You thrive in an ever-changing landscape and can adapt your strategies accordingly.

What you'll get in return

  • Impact: Being a key player in shaping our learning culture and employee development.
  • Ownership: Set up the entire L&D department and leave your mark on our organisation.
  • Innovation: Experiment with creative learning solutions and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Growth: As we scale, your role will evolve, providing ample opportunities for professional growth.
