Job Responsibilities:

  • Create innovative pastries or baked goods according to company/customer requirements that are feasible for production line manufacturing.
  • Renovate existing products to achieve cost savings and quality improvement.
  • Prepare costings and product specifications for all developing products.
  • Participate in production trial runs for product process validation.
  • Liaise with suppliers for new ingredient requests.
  • Support the R&D team in sensory evaluations for new raw material replacements or new products.
  • Prepare related product development reports on a regular basis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/HOD.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Pastry Chef (with laminated products) or in a relevant role would be an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with strong practical pastry skills are welcome to apply.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work in Pulau Indah.
