Job Responsibilities:
- Create innovative pastries or baked goods according to company/customer requirements that are feasible for production line manufacturing.
- Renovate existing products to achieve cost savings and quality improvement.
- Prepare costings and product specifications for all developing products.
- Participate in production trial runs for product process validation.
- Liaise with suppliers for new ingredient requests.
- Support the R&D team in sensory evaluations for new raw material replacements or new products.
- Prepare related product development reports on a regular basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/HOD.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Pastry Chef (with laminated products) or in a relevant role would be an advantage.
- Fresh graduates with strong practical pastry skills are welcome to apply.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Able to work in Pulau Indah.
