The Opportunity:
This role is a junior level position that supports cross regional operations, which mainly liaise with internal and external clients based locally and overseas.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day management and trade support workflow processes via internal and external systems.
- Support for trade execution and confirmation, ensure trades are accurately booked and reconciled.
- Assisting with internal support applications, data input and verification, and electronic filing of documents.
- Compile, organize and maintain records of business transactions.
- Attend to client’s query.
- Liaise with front office & broker to resolve trade discrepancies.
- Liaise with internal and external parties on compliance, legal and CSA agreements.
- Liaise with inter-offices and external brokers / clients on broker rebates.
- In charge of finance and invoicing of team with various vendors.
- Responsible of various management and client reporting.
- Responsible for timely and accurate trade/data entries.
- Work collaboratively with front and back-office staffs.
- Streamline process workflows to implement best practices.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects/assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
- Able to communicate well with internal & external clients – both verbally and in clearly-written reports.
- Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work within a cohesive team environment.
- Be customer-focused with the commitment to providing exceptional client service and have excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work on public holiday(s), to serve clients in markets that are open during local public holidays.
- Ability to work shifts including Saturday to serve clients for US market before trade settlement on Saturday Asia Hours.
Skills:
- This role supports cross-regional operations, liaising with internal and external clients based locally and overseas, including those based in China.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin language, both written and oral has an added advantage.
- Strong in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Have excellent organizational skills, time management skills and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree of any relevant studies.
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Fast learner, possessing the willingness to learn and a can-do attitude.
- Meticulous and good with numbers.
- Comfortable with change, ambiguity, debate, conflict and informed risk taking.
