Job Description
- Perform fire fighting related service, maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair work where required
- Manage paperwork such as job checklists and job reports as required by immediate supervisor
- Must be competent to replace the immediate supervisor as a temporary release and must be able to perform the task as assigned to the supervisor
- Must take pro-active measure to enhance ability to cover for the position of immediate supervisor and managing site work as work leader for the CLIENT permit to work system
- Carry out weekly site visit to client’s site, evaluate potential issues or improvements and to document daily site activity in weekly report to immediate supervisor
- Attend site meetings where required.
- Comply with Safety, Health and Environmental regulations and safe working practices.
- Perform any other duties as directed from time to time by immediate superior and Management.
Education and/or Experience
a) Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in Fire Fighting System Maintenance and Services
b) Minimum diploma in engineering related field
c) Added advantage for NIOSH OGSP (Oil & Gas Safety Passport)
d) Added advantage for Fire Extinguisher Competent Person Certificate
d) Able to communicate & write in English/Bahasa Melayu
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Ability to manage own working time to meet deadlines
· Ability to work on own initiative
· Ability to actively seek solutions to problems
· General computer skills
