Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation and Maintenance:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
  • Ensure that all processes, procedures, and documentation adhere to QMS requirements.
  • Set up and manage company and departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Objectives (QOs).

2. Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Establish and enforce quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement inspection criteria and procedures for incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.

3. Customer and Supplier Management:

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their quality requirements and ensure products meet or exceed these expectations.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components.
  • Handle customer complaints and non-conformances, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

4. New FA Part and Technical Discussion:

  • Oversee the quality aspects of new First Article (FA) parts to ensure they meet customer requirements and specifications.
  • Guide the technical team during the FA stage, aligning customer requirements with technical capabilities and understanding.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to top management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.

6. Equipment and Technology Management:

  • Oversee the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment and technology.
