The position shall be based in our Resort at Mantanani Island.

Responsibilities:-
- Responsible to assist the Executive Chef to manage all kitchen operations within authorized guidelines and to Company established standards.
- Responsible to propose menus, kitchen-related purchases and continuously makes necessary improvements.
- Responsible to maintain positive customer relationships, processing complaints, and respond to customer needs.
- Responsible to establish targets, KPI’s, duty rosters, schedules, policies, and procedures.
- Responsible to comply with all food, kitchen health, and safety regulations
- Hiring, training, and managing kitchen staff.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends.
Requirements:-
- A certificate, diploma, or degree in Culinary Arts / Kitchen Management is a prerequisite.
- 5 years of experience in the hospitality culinary / food & beverage industry.
- Must be able to communicate (read and write) in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage.
- ISO and IT literate.
