Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the procurement function, from pricing / vendor sourcing and selection to negotiating competitively and monitoring performance of suppliers in meeting agreed terms, budgets and delivery.
- Review quotations and to ensure the purchase requisition in accordance with company policies and standard of procedure.
- To take corrective and preventive action on the delivery of defective and unacceptable goods.
- Continually sourcing new materials in timely and costs effective manner.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers based on factors such as quality, cost, reliability, and delivery performance, while adhering to company policies and procedures and promoting cost-saving initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or any relevant field.
- At least 3 years’ experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably specialized in Plastic Injection Molding and experience working in manufacturing industry would be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines and work with a minimum supervision.
- Fluent in mandarin reading and speaking is a must for this position.
