Besides Zenyum Invisible Braces, Zenyum is rapidly expanding its Consumer Products category. The current line-up of Consumer Products includes the award-winning ZenyumSonic Toothbrush and a range of additional Smile Cosmetics Products. Zenyum is one of Asia's best-selling personal care e-commerce brands with hundreds of thousands of happy customers. We aim to transform the Oral Care category from a boring chore into an exciting Smile Cosmetics ritual.

Based in Malaysia, take ownership of developing exciting new Smile Cosmetics products from initial ideation and product vision to a fully finished and consumer-ready product. Driven by an entrepreneurial mindset and armed with creativity and strong project management skills, you are quickly developing award-winning and best-selling products. You can take ownership of critical projects and have the ability to work end-to-end with a wide network of stakeholders, from designers, manufacturing partners, and regulatory advisors to marketing and commercial teams.

You will report to the VP of Consumer Products while closely collaborating with our Creative, Marketing, and Operations teams.

You're a fit for this role, if you:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in FMCG, Product development, or related fields. Experience in consumer electronics or cosmetics will be strongly preferred.
  • Background in Industrial Design, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Cosmetics/ Food Science, Phygital Product Design, and Product Development
  • Business fluent in Chinese is a MUST.
  • Are a strong communicator and project manager with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects in parallel
  • Are highly structured in your work and can work independently under pressure
  • have an eye for design, an analytical mindset, and deeply care about building great customer experiences
  • Are passionately tuned into South East Asia's consumers and can articulate what makes a great product
  • Understand that personal growth results from self-awareness and coachability and brings both to the table
  • Enjoy engaging in a highly ambitious and international environment in the heart of the most dynamic digital region in the world
  • Entrepreneurial and interested in working in a VUCA startup environment

We are looking for an ambitious New Product Innovation Senior Executive to:

  • Build and scale our Smile Cosmetics business by developing a portfolio of new smile and oral care-related innovations.
  • Drive and project manage the product development process from ideation to scaled production, including building and managing our global supplier relationships.
  • Experiment & establish clear product requirements via market research, internally or externally
  • Ensure readiness of all plans from concept to commercialization; go-to-market and portfolio management; creating strong alignments between Design, Commercial, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Assure competitiveness and innovation of products and processes in line with the company’s vision.
