We are looking for a brilliant Human Resource Manager, Malaysia to join our fast-growing Shipco Transport Malaysia. The successful candidate will be based at Klang, he/she is a key member of our Malaysia management team, responsible in maintaining the good standard of HR activities within the organization so to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection:
- Execute end to end process of recruitment activities, include job description preparation, identification of suitable recruitment channels, initiating the recruitment process, shortlisting of applications, coordination of interviews and issue employment offer
-On boarding: including relevant memo, conduct in house induction program for new employees, new employee internal registration, keep track of employment confirmation process.
-Off boarding activities: including exit interview
Training and Development:
-Identifying training and development needs within the organization through annual performance review, and annual training needs analysis.
-Organizing and coordinating approved training.
-Administer Performance Planning and Review process
Payroll:
-Work closely with 3rd party payroll vendor to ensure on time monthly salary payment
-Ensure compliance of Labour Act, Industrial Relation Act, income tax, EPF, SOCSO, HRDF, local authority requirements.
Employee Relations:
-Responsible for employee engagement/recreation activity
-Responsible for employee communication activities (preparation of memo, notification, announcement etc)
-Handle employees’ enquiries on welfare, and benefits related topics.
-Handle employee grievance and complaints
-Handle labour department in all labour law related matters
HR Administration:
-Maintain the accuracy of HR database in Success Factors system
-Administer employee medical, insurance registration, and claims
-Responsible for HR reporting (when required)
We are looking for a “people person” that is strong and resourceful in recruitment, comfortable with change, has an agile and open mind and is seeking to be part of a Shipco company. The qualities we are looking for are:
· Bachelor degree or Diploma holder with 3-5 years of relevant experience in same capacity
· Experience in managing full spectrum of HR functions
· Strong in stake holders’ relationship management, able to coach and give guidance to managers or employees when required
· Conflicts identification and management skill
· A strong team player who is able to work independently, under pressure and meet tight deadlines
