Ductwork Product Designer and Engineer (Due Diligence)

Are you passionate about designing and engineering ductwork systems that are efficient, reliable, and compliant with global standards? Our new business expansion is seeking an experienced Ductwork Product Designer and Engineer to join our team in Senai, Johor, Malaysia!

Working Hours:
-Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
-Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:
-Design and develop ductwork systems and control devices based on client and project needs.
-Use CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create detailed 2D and 3D models.
-Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and risk assessments.
-Ensure compliance with industry standards like SMACNA, ASHRAE, and relevant building service requirements.
-Lead the prototyping and testing of components, managing projects from concept to completion.
-Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless design integration.
-Stay ahead of the curve: propose innovative design improvements and stay updated on the latest industry trends.

Who We’re Looking For:
-Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
2+ years of experience in ductwork design, process exhaust ductwork systems, or related engineering.
-Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools like ANSYS or COMSOL.
-Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer principles.
-Familiarity with industry standards such as SMACNA and ASHRAE.
-Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
