Responsibilities :
- Purchase the right parts/quantities with the required quality, on time to minimize production loss hours / obsolescence and to meet the Master Production Schedule.
- Plan and calculate when the purchase order must be made in order to meet production required date.
- Forward projection of orders to vendors in order to reduce lead time and production costs by maintaining stock and minimize the inventory cost of the company.
- Responsible for selecting and coordinating of vendors from the Approved Vendor List for purchases.
- Responsible for daily Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order processing:
- Checking availability and confirming of orders with the vendors in respect to price, quality and delivery dates.
- Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and expedite delivery of goods send in JIT (Just in Time).
- Follow up on rejected ( MDR ) or wrongly sent parts and ensure punctual return of the parts.
- Formulating customer and vendor relationship and monitoring on time delivery, quality, pricing etc.
- Other administrative duties related to purchasing, example issuing and sending of PO, filing etc.
- Re-schedule in and out for all the ordered.
- Responsible on the Inventory Turn and Aging Reports.
Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably contract manufacturing experiences.
