Responsibilities :

  • Purchase the right parts/quantities with the required quality, on time to minimize production loss hours / obsolescence and to meet the Master Production Schedule.
  • Plan and calculate when the purchase order must be made in order to meet production required date.
  • Forward projection of orders to vendors in order to reduce lead time and production costs by maintaining stock and minimize the inventory cost of the company.
  • Responsible for selecting and coordinating of vendors from the Approved Vendor List for purchases.
  • Responsible for daily Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order processing:
  • Checking availability and confirming of orders with the vendors in respect to price, quality and delivery dates.
  • Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and expedite delivery of goods send in JIT (Just in Time).
  • Follow up on rejected ( MDR ) or wrongly sent parts and ensure punctual return of the parts.
  • Formulating customer and vendor relationship and monitoring on time delivery, quality, pricing etc.
  • Other administrative duties related to purchasing, example issuing and sending of PO, filing etc.
  • Re-schedule in and out for all the ordered.
  • Responsible on the Inventory Turn and Aging Reports.

Requirement:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably contract manufacturing experiences.
