Process Engineer - Powder Coating Plant

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the powder coating field, with a thorough understanding of the powder coating process and quality checks.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in developing and implementing SOPs, WIs, and other process documentation.
• Quality Assurance: Experience with both destructive and non-destructive testing methods.
• Preferred Skills: Experience in plating fields such as zinc plating, silver plating, and nickel plating will be advantageous.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex process issues.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Education: Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or a related field is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization: Oversee and continuously improve the powder coating processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Quality Control: Conduct and supervise all necessary quality checks, including destructive and non-destructive tests, to maintain high product standards.
• Documentation Development: Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), Certificates of Conformance (COCs), and other relevant documentation.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Process Flow Management: Understand and manage the entire powder coating process flow from pre-treatment to final coating application.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams, production staff, and quality assurance to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.
• Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Training: Provide training and support to plant personnel on process procedures, quality standards, and safety practices.
