Job Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in the interior design and build industry, with a strong understanding of layout plans and Bills of Quantities (BQ).
  • Ability to work independently in a target-driven and fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects under pressure.
  • Experience in tender preparation, cost estimation, contract management, and vendor negotiation is essential.

Job Descriptions

1. Contract & Cost Management:

  • Manage the full cycle of Interior Design Bills of Quantities (BQ), including contract documentation, tender preparation, cost analysis, and claims evaluation.
  • Oversee project costs to ensure alignment with budget, including preparing valuations, final accounts, and handling contractor payments.
  • Lead tender negotiations, issue Purchase Orders, and manage procurement to maintain cost control.

2. Project & Tender Administration:

  • Prepare and manage tender submissions, including Bills of Quantities, tender packages, and contract awards.
  • Attend site briefings and conduct cost estimates, sourcing quotations, and negotiating with vendors.
  • Administer project documentation, including interim valuations, contract variations, and claims submissions.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Provide cost-related advice, monitor project progress, and communicate updates to clients and internal teams.

4. Hands-on Quantity Surveying:

  • Perform measurements, take-offs, and cost analysis throughout pre, post, and final contract stages, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
