Truck Monitoring & Management Leader (Transport)

JOB PURPOSE

• Cold chain & Aircond management and monitoring are crucial components in Transportation supply chain industries - refers to the transportation, handling, delivering of temperature-sensitive products such as pharmaceuticals.
• To ensures that the products maintain their quality, effectiveness, and safety by controlling their temperature at all stages of the logistics process.
• Responsible for managing temperature sensitive distribution / transportation planning (Land, Sea, Air), supervise product handling and effective performance in Temperature Controlled Truck Monitoring

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitoring the process of tracking the temperature of products at different points during deliveries to ensure that they remain within the required temperature range.
• To ensure that pharma products and vaccines maintain their potency during loading and transportation.
• The products are kept and transported under strict temperature-controlled conditions, typically between 2 to 8 degrees Celsius for vaccines and between 15 to 25 degrees Celsius for most pharma products.
• The monitoring process includes inspection of specialized equipment such as refrigerated trucks and insulated containers to maintain the required temperature during transportation. Any deviation from the recommended temperature range to be analyst – provide root cause, corrective action, preventive action, recommendation.
• Temperature control monitoring: the primary principle is temperature control. Temperature-sensitive products must be maintained within a specific temperature range to prevent spoilage or degradation. This involves monitoring and controlling the temperature during transportation using specialized refrigeration systems and temperature-monitoring devices – I Button.
• To guide and train transporters on proper handling of temperature-sensitive products to prevent damage and contamination – precooling process, to maintain the required temperature during delivery.
• Proper training and education of personnel involved in cold chain management for ensuring that the principles of temperature control, proper handling, and regular monitoring are followed correctly. This includes training on the use of specialized refrigeration systems, products, and temperature-monitoring devices, as well as best practices for handling and transporting temperature-sensitive products.
• Regular monitoring of the temperature and other conditions during transportation for ensuring that products remain within the required temperature range. This involves using temperature-monitoring devices, such as data loggers,
• To work with Quality Assurance team and their measures to ensure that products meet the required standards of quality and safety. This involves conducting regular inspections and quality checks, as well as implementing corrective actions if any issues are identified.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 3-4 years experience in similar role
• Knowledge of Cold Chain management in distribution or transportation, with focus on Temperature controlled truck monitoring.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
