We Are Hiring:

We are in the lookout for talents to join our Actuarial Services team as our Senior Executive. In this role, you will be a key contributor in the areas as follows:

• Assist in preparing financial reporting submissions and manage data to actuarial software and MFRS 17 sub-ledger system.
• Perform actuarial modelling, validation of model output, and treaty studies for data mapping.
• Compile data, prepare working files, and communicate with external consultants/vendors for MFRS 17 reporting.
• Assist in preparing statutory reporting submissions (RBC, FCR, etc.) and compile data for valuation reports.
• Conduct data analysis through premium and claims checking and communicate with external consultants/clients for RBC reporting.
• Assist in preparation of experience studies and annual business plan projections.
• Support data system implementation and identify enhancements for existing processes/spreadsheets.
• Complete assigned tasks within stated timelines, ensuring compliance with MFRS 17 and RBC frameworks.
• Possess an adequate understanding of MFRS 17 and RBC standards, with the ability to work within tight deadlines.
• Handle any ad-hoc tasks as assigned to ensure timely completion of all responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science.
• Good progress in Actuarial Exams.
• Preferably at least 2 years of working experience in relevant fields.
• A team player who is self-motivated and possesses good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with tight deadline and under pressure.
• Analytical skills, critical thinking and affinity for numbers and details are essential.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, VBA/SQL programming or other modelling skills are an added advantage.
