Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Supervisor at Xenergi Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at project sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and maintaining project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilites:

Site Management:

• Oversee daily operations at the project site to ensure work is performed according to plans and specifications.
• Coordinate and manage the activities of subcontractors, site workers, and other personnel.
• Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and organization.

Project Coordination:

• Assist Engineering Department during site visit activities.
• Collaborate with the project manager to ensure work aligns with project goals and timelines.
• Plan and schedule work, ensuring that labor, materials, and equipment are efficiently allocated.
• Address and resolve any technical issues, changes in scope, or on-site challenges.

Health & Safety Compliance:

• Enforce and adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring that site operations follow safety protocols.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and inspections, ensuring the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Respond to safety concerns and report accidents or incidents immediately.

Quality Control:

• Ensure that all work completed meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of work completed and report issues to the project manager.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and records of site activities.
• Provide regular updates on progress, delays, and any other issues affecting the project timeline.
• Submit necessary documentation related to site activities, labor, and equipment.

Testing and Commissioning

• Knowledgeable about T&C for electrical and solar system.
• Assist for T&C activities.
• Assist technical services department for power logging activities.

Qualification:

Education: A degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in a site supervisory role, ideally in renewable energy projects (solar, wind, energy efficiency), construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors and labor on-site.

Skills:

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Problem-solving abilities to address site challenges efficiently.
• Proficiency in project management software or construction-related software is a plus.
