Job Title: IT Project Site Engineer (Temporary)

Location: Labuan (3 sites)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated **IT Project Site Engineer** to assist with an ongoing project in Labuan for a temporary period of 2-3 months. The role involves overseeing network installation, configuration, and hardware setup across multiple sites. The successful candidate will collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and handle shipping logistics to ensure smooth project execution. You will also work closely with and report to the Project Manager based in Peninsular Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in network cabling and installation at 1 project site (Bangunan Ujana Kewangan).
- Perform network configuration and hardware installation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for hardware and material deliveries.
- Arrange shipping and logistics for hardware delivery and installation.
- Ensure on-site project tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Report to and liaise with the Project Manager based in Peninsular Malaysia for project updates.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting on-site as needed.
- Work closely with the project manager and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project flow.
Requirements:
- Experience in IT, telecommunications, or network engineering.
- Familiarity with network installation, cabling, and configuration.
- Ability to work on-site in Labuan for the project duration.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience working with suppliers, vendors, and handling logistics is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
