Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Laboratory Technician at Uyemura (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for conducting quality control tests, operating laboratory equipment, utilizing analytical skills, performing various laboratory tasks on a day-to-day basis, prepare all reagents required by Chemist/Engineer and perform laboratory testing using various types of laboratory equipment, and ensure the safety of the lab are practiced at all time.

Qualifications

  • Laboratory Equipment and Laboratory Skills
  • Quality Control and Analytical Skills
  • Experience as a Laboratory Technician
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of safety procedures in a laboratory setting
  • SPM or equivalent (in Science stream with credits in Science and Mathematics) or Diploma in Science
  • Proficienr in Microsoft Office
