Job Summary: As a Human Resource Business Partner for Kens Apothecary, you will oversee the HR functions across Malaysia and Thailand. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to manage HR operations, drive business expansion, and ensure alignment with the company's goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy and Planning (20%)
- Develop and implement regional HR strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Work closely with senior management to support business expansion plans, including market entry strategies.
- Conduct regular analysis of HR metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
- Support business expansion initiatives, including setting up HR processes in new locations.
- Partner with local authorities and consultants to navigate legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop change management strategies to support business growth and integration.
2. TTalent Acquisition and Management (20%)
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to ensure timely hiring of high-caliber candidates.
- Develop and maintain a talent pipeline to support business growth and expansion.
- Implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new employees into the company culture.
3. Employee Relations and Engagement (15%)
- Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and effective communication strategies.
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary issues in a fair and consistent manner.
- Promote a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and continuous learning.
4. Learning and Development (15%)
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Implement leadership development initiatives to prepare high-potential employees for future roles.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
5. Performance Management (10%)
- Oversee the performance appraisal process to ensure fair and consistent evaluations.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on performance management and employee development.
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
6. Compensation and Benefits (5%)
- Ensure competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and salary surveys to maintain market competitiveness.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
7. HR Operations and Compliance (10%)
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations across the region.
- Handling all industrial relations issues within the organization.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems.
- Implement and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the beauty luxury industry or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing HR functions across multiple locations.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations within the region.
- Experience in supporting business expansion initiatives is highly desirable.
