Role Purpose
This regional role will work with internal support functions in managing and controlling operational delivery. Provide guidance on company expectations on 3rd party output. Develop internal commercial relationships and contribute to the workplace function objectives. The Regional Manager will be managing GWRE (Global Workplaces & Real Estate) for following countries - Malaysia, Australia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam
Key responsibilities include:
Individual:
- Establish a working relationship with in-country support functions.
- Financial management of all in-country GWRE expense.
- Oversee operational performance of GWRE (Global Workplaces and Real Estate APAC) services and assist others in service delivery.
- Manage workload and prioritize key deliverables.
Shared:
- Collaborate within Global Workplaces and Real Estate APAC & contribute to other global functions.
- Contribute to APAC financial targets both in Opex & Capex
- Initiate new ways of working that can be considered as part of change management.
- Develop initiatives that have been introduced that will bring innovation either globally or regionally.
Academic, Experience & Knowledge Requirements:
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- 10 years of experience in Real Estate & Facility Management
- 10 years of international experience.
- Technical background
- Experience in facilities, property management
- Able to communicate difficult and complex issues clearly and concisely with analytical and critical thinking.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Understand and interpret commercial contracts and relevant terms
- Budget management and financial analysis skills and good understanding of the importance of cost savings and sustainability in business
