  • Enforce safety protocols and standards within the warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Technology Utilization

  • Oversee the implementation and use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant technologies.
  • Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions regarding inventory and warehouse processes.

Vendor And Carrier Relations

  • Collaborate with vendors and carriers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
  • Negotiate favourable terms and conditions with logistics partners.

Cost Management

  • Monitor and control warehouse operational expenses.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to improve cost efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified in Production and Inventory Management - CPIM) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and other relevant technologies.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
