The Factory Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility. This role involves managing production processes, ensuring product quality, improving efficiency, and maintaining a safe and compliant working environment. The Operations Manager will lead and develop a team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and work closely with other departments to meet production targets and company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management: Plan, organize, and oversee production schedules and activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Logistic Management: Ensure that all orders are arranged and delivered on time using the optimal lorry routes.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors, technicians, and operators to achieve operational excellence.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that the facility complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a culture of safety and oversee safety training programs.
  • Resource Management: Manage the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize production efficiency.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Oversee the maintenance of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present operational reports, analyze production data, and provide insights to senior management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including procurement, R&D & Sales to align production with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production management, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and production planning.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in using SAP system.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
