Summary:
We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Head of Sales to spearhead the sales growth and expansion. This role requires a dynamic individual who embodies a love for sports, as you will represent the company brand in various capacities. You will drive sales across multiple channels, including retail, wholesale, eCommerce, and corporate sales, with a focus on expanding its presence both locally and internationally. A background in the retail sector—preferably in fashion, sporting goods, or a related industry—is essential, along with experience in buying and merchandising.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies across retail, wholesale, eCommerce, and corporate channels. Drive revenue growth by seizing new business opportunities locally and internationally, while meeting aggressive sales targets.
Channel Management & Development:
- Expand the brand in all of its outlets and other retailers. Build relationships with wholesale, distribution, and corporate partners.
- Maximize eCommerce sales in collaboration with the eCommerce Manager.
Buying & Merchandising:
- Align product selections with market trends and seasonal demands.
- Lead the buying strategy, optimize inventory, pricing, and product assortments using data-driven insights.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Build and mentor a high-performing sales team.
- Conduct performance reviews and offer coaching to maximize team output and success.
International Expansion:
- Lead market research and strategy development for international growth.
- Manage relationships with global distributors and partners.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong customer relationships, addressing issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and drive growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 7+ years of sales management experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading business expansion.
- Experience in retail, preferably within fashion, sporting goods, or similar industries.
- Experience in buying and merchandising is highly desired.
- A passion for sports and an understanding of the sportswear industry.
- International sales experience is a plus.
