Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control the daily operations of WTE plants to ensure optimal performance and compliance with environmental standards.
  • Liaise with authorities, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of environmental documentation, including compliance reports and permit applications.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, identifying and resolving any operational issues promptly.
  • Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule and execute preventive maintenance activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation related to plant operations, performance, and incident reports.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during operations.
  • Preparing reports on plant operations, outage planning, and other performance metrics necessary for proper management and planning.
  • Monitor and conduct analysis on the water, diesel and other consumables utilization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Waste to Energy (WTE) industry, thermal power plant or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in liaising with authorities and preparing environmental submissions.
  • Strong knowledge of WTE processes, including combustion, heat recovery, and emissions control.
  • Familiarity with environmental regulations and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using plant management software and other relevant tools.
  • Proactive interpersonal, quality leadership skills & positive attitude.
