  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

SALT is looking to hire a Business Analyst for a global employment marketplace client in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for 6 months & renewable contract role. The key duty will be the day-to-day engagement and leadership within the team to facilitate the delivery of agreed team goals as well as align team’s bespoke ways of working with company’s culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead communications to other internal teams (e.g., Service Management, Sales, Customer Service etc) and leadership groups (Steerco.) as required and participate in regular goal setting and review meetings.
  • Lead goal setting (e.g., OKR) process and development of problem statements in conjunction with the team (Product Manager & Engineering Manager/Software Engineers) and ensure these are translated into goals with deliverable items and clear prioritization.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the customers in your team, and supporting priorities and requirements based on where impact can be most significant.
  • Lead a continuous improvement /continuous delivery culture between teams and aligning to industry trends where applicable.
  • Coaching/mentoring other Business Analyst in Agile & team practices
  • Lead the development and facilitation of Agile ceremonies
  • Ability to explain the evolution and impact of the domain (business model, stakeholders, vocab) to other teams/streams
  • Ability to assist Product Manager / Engineering Manager with contributions to Roadmap definition
  • Experience in managing User Acceptance Testing items (bugs raised, prioritisation, scope)
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks (i.e., Scrum, Kanban) and practices

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in online marketplace businesses is desired.
  • Experience working with teams in remote or matrixed environments would be highly regarded.
  • Previous end-to-end relationship management experience including being point of contact for Partners/Clients in relation to product delivery
  • Ability to define and own Roadmap in place of Product Manager / Engineering Manager and manage priorities of requirements and scope
  • Ability to interpret analyzed data and make observations and recommendations based on analysis outcomes.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience
