Job Summary

As a Senior Lead Digital Marketing Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our digital marketing efforts. You will be responsible for overseeing and implementing various strategies across multiple channels to enhance our brand visibility, engage with our target audience, and drive customer and public acquisition and retention. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing and optimising our digital presence across social media platforms, e-newsletters, social listening, KOLs, and brand ambassadors, as well as content creation

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across various platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, lnstagram, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Create engaging content, including text, images, and videos, that resonates with our target audience and aligns with our brand voice and messaging.
  • Monitor and analyse social media metrics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimisation.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets to maximise reach and ROI.
  • Foster online communities and engage with customers, responding to queries, comments, and reviews in a timely and professional manner, when needed.
  • Craft compelling and engaging copy for social media content, ensuring it aligns with our brand voice, resonates with our target audience, and drives maximum engagement.

KOLs and Brand Ambassador

  • Identify and collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and influential individuals in our industry to amplify our brand message and reach.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with brand ambassadors, coordinating their involvement in campaigns, events, and content creation.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of KOL and brand ambassador partnerships, assessing their effectiveness and making adjustments as needed.

Content Creation

  • Lead the creation and optimization of high-quality content across various digital channels, including blog posts, articles, infographics, videos, and social media content.
  • Ensure content is aligned with our brand identity, SEO best practices, and audience preferences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather information, conduct research, and create compelling and informative content.
  • Monitor content performance metrics and use insights to refine content strategy and drive engagement and conversions.

Social Listening

  • Utilise social listening tools to monitor brand mentions, sentiment, and conversations relevant to our industry and competitors.
  • Analyse social media data to gain insights into customer preferences, opinions, and trends, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance our marketing strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for real-time engagement with customers, influencers, and industry thought leaders to strengthen brand perception and drive advocacy.

E-newsletter

  • Plan, create, and distribute compelling e-newsletters to our subscriber base, delivering valuable content, promotions, and updates.
  • Segment and target the audience based on their preferences, behaviors, and demographics to ensure personalized and relevant communication.
  • Monitor and analyse e-newsletter performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, to optimise future campaigns.
  • Continuously explore innovative ways to improve the effectiveness of our e-newsletters, such as A/B testing subject lines, layouts, and content.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant industry experience, including proven expertise in effectively leading and managing teams.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, specifically in managing social media platforms, e-newsletters, social listening, KOLs, and content creation.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, digital marketing trends, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools, e-newsletter platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content as well as carry out basic proofreading.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Malaysia’s dynamic PR landscape, including a clear differentiation between earned, paid, and owned media channels.
