Position: Investment Analyst (1-year Contract Basis)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our property investment team as an Investment Analyst. This is a junior-level contract role, suitable for recent graduates or those with up to 2 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting investment analysis, conducting market research, preparing reports, and assisting in the preparation of presentation materials for the Board of Directors (BOD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed financial analysis using key metrics such as Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Present Value (NPV), Payback Period, and Rental Yield.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare investment reports and assist in the creation of BOD presentation decks.
  • Support the investment team in evaluating potential property acquisitions and development opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, economic data, and competitive analysis related to property investment.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills for the preparation of presentations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic understanding of property investment and traditional financial metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in investment analysis or property-related fields (internship experience included).
