Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Prepare progress claims, payment certificates, variation orders, and final accounts.
- Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate the quantity and costs of labor, materials, and machinery.
- Project Planning: Develop cost plans, estimates, and cash flow projections to ensure project success.
- Liaison: Liaise with Consultants on all contractual matters, progress claim, site valuation, variation orders, final certificate.
- Contract Coordination: Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors on contract matters, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Tender Preparation: Prepare tendering documents, measurements, and bills of quantities.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various departments including Finance and Project Management to ensure smooth operations.
- Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years working experience as Quantity Surveyor in the construction field.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision, committed and good communication skills.
- Good working attitude, ability to organize, planning and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Computer literate is essential, must be well-versed in MS Office, AutoCAD.
