Key Objective
This position reports directly to the Head of Partnership Distribution, Consumer Lines. Responsible to grow Chubb’s partnership ecosystem by prospecting and acquiring a good mix of strategic partners :-

  • Develop and executing business development plans – new target market/partnership.
  • To meet agreed performance and financial target.
  • To support Head of Partnership Distribution on boarding new partners, to measure, track and monitor the process of partner signing-up in a timely manner.
  • To conduct market research to gather relevant data and insights in identifying and evaluate potential partnership opportunities and about the prospecting market and industry.
  • To analyze competitors using SWOT analysis.
  • To serve as the interface for strategic partners and maintain strong rapport with the key contact of the working team.

Major duties and responsibilities
Prospecting

  • Conduct market research to understand the size, trend, challenges of the market, as well the the needs, preferences and opportunity of the potential partners via various sources of market research.
  • Perform Non-Disclosure Agreement when new prospects being explored.
  • Develop proposal comprises business objectives, high level product propositions and projection.

New Partner Onboarding

  • Work with Legal and Compliance on due diligence, corporate agency agreement and other marketing agreements.
  • Establish partnership launch timeline for end-to-end process and working to ensure successful execution from both parties.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (both local and regional), including project lead, underwriter, claims, customer services, operation, finance and other line of business.
  • Conduct partner training for business partner to nuances of Chubb’s products, solve consumer problem and handle objections.

Others

  • Stay informed, communicate on market trends and competition by providing strategy recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Assist in product development & marketing plan for potential partners.
  • Manage & track performance of given projects within consumer lines.
  • Monthly activities tracking and updating of new leads/deals pipeline in Hubspot.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management from time to time

Skills

  • Strong understanding of partnership principles, deal structuring and negotiation techniques
  • Good analytical skill, result oriented and able in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Resourceful and possess excellent business acumen
  • Have good interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and be part if the team player
  • Insurance and financial product knowledge preferred
  • Appreciate and understand compliance and controls
  • Good computer skills and familiarity in Microsoft Offices are required

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business and marketing or relevant discipline from a reputable university with minimum 5 years working experience
  • Insurance industry, direct marketing, and/or financial industry background will be an added advantage
