This role is to provide leadership for the division in achieving its vision and key initiatives, in line with the company’s overall goals. This position will be reporting to the Head of Operations Malaysia, Singapore & Cambodia (MSK). The direct reports for this position will be the Senior Operations Manager / Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Operations team in Malaysia, manage costs and meet both financial and operational KPI’s
  • Review the Company’s performance continuously versus the business plan and the Company’s long term strategy
  • Implement restaurant business plan by assessing restaurant demand; conferring with people in the community; identifying and evaluating competitors; preparing financial, marketing, and sales projections, analyses, and estimates.
  • Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the stakeholders
  • Analyze Company’s operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
  • Establish and maintain appropriate systems to support and measure necessary aspects of operational performance, management and development.
  • Oversee Operations Department by monitoring, directing and providing strategies for operational management and development to meet operation's standards and business plans.
  • Liaise with other departments in understanding all necessary aspects and needs of operational development, and to ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives, purposes and achievements.

Requirements:

  • Candidate preferably possesses at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Finance/ Management or professional qualification. Master’s degree in either of these fields will be an added advantage
  • At least 10 year(s) of working experience in a general management role. Preference given to those from F&B background
  • Substantial exposure and skill in creating and analyzing financial reports and budgets
  • Considerable knowledge of business theory, business processes management and business office operations
  • Excellent understanding or project management principles
