Job Description:
- Fully responsible for all the Quality Assurance activities in the production.
- Formulate and set quality policies according to global furniture quality standards and legal regulations for quality control function.
- Lead special inspection tool design process.
- Manage all incoming material and component inspection activities and develop and manage new product test activities including new fabric application test, new product.
- Manage the disposal of non-conforming material, components and products, ensuring that company and product quality requirements are met.
- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in accordance with relevant standards and regulation.
- Monitor the verification and follow-up of quality issues occurring at the production line and customer sites, ensuring all open NCM issues can be closed in a timely manner.
- Interface with suppliers/OEMs on inspection methods, test report requirements in technical agreements, master sample sign-off, on-site inspections, sorting arrangement, and NCM components and products disposal method.
- Manage ISIR inspection activities to support NPIP projects, quality improvement and cost saving projects.
- Manage manufacturing quality by developing and updating inspection working instruction and control plans, quality awareness training, process non-conformity goods disposal, etc.
- Oversee and monitor the incoming, in-process and outgoing quality control inspections to ensure adherence to established quality standards. Maintain records of quality control activities and inspection results.
- Analyze data from quality inspection to identify trend, root cause of issues and develop containment and recovery plans.
- Conduct daily patrols in production area to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training to relevant employee on quality control procedures and standards.
- Develop and maintain calibration schedules to ensure timely and regular checks on all relevant equipment
- Completion of assignments and other projects as requested.
Job Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Candidates with at least 3 years of quality management working experience.
- Preference to candidate with working experience in furniture industry
- Proven experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and methodologies.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and root cause analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and requirements.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all processes.
